Milling angular references and process parameters on fiber reinforced plastics

Abstract Machining of fiber-reinforced composites produces delamination in the workpiece. In bidirectional long fiber fabric reinforced composites, depends on different parameters. this work, two parameters are studied: orientation angle respect to machining direction and distance warp yarn from trimmed edge until next dip below crossing fill. This work defines angles relating with cutting feed movements their relations a robust way, being applied trimming grooving operations. On other hand, for Type II delamination, three kinds (constant, uniform pattern variation random) studied taking into account orientation, wick size direction.
